At the end of December 2020 I received the Certificate of Advanced Studies in Sports Management from the University of St. Gallen. The programme, run in close cooperation with 1. FC Schalke, comprised 18 days of classroom teaching over four months. It was a very interesting course, which I was able to complete with top marks.
I greatly valued the exchange with the various participants and gained many valuable ideas for my work as a coach. As a coach it is important always to keep your finger on the pulse. Part of that is understanding the overarching management context within a club.
