This week the central course for holders of the UEFA Pro Licence took place in Nyon. It is always a great pleasure to meet former… current… and future opponents and to exchange ideas. More often than not, that is the most valuable training there is in our job.
Until next time…!
…to the new 2023/24 season, the lads have picked up momentum and are hungry for more. This weekend the league makes way for the national team, and on Friday 15 September things continue with the round of 32 of the Swiss Cup against YB.

After a short but intense pre-season, it is finally under way again: the 23/24 Challenge League season is upon us…! On Friday evening we welcome the team from Schaffhausen à La Maladière. The lads have trained hard for this start and have set themselves plenty to aim for…!
Last season was one big disappointment, and there is a good deal to put right…!

What a cup final that was yesterday afternoon… Everything a football heart could wish for! Warmest congratulations to my friends in Bern.
Ten years ago yesterday, an equally thrilling cup final took place at the Wankdorf stadium. A final that holds a very special place in the footballing lives of many of us. A final that will bind us together forever and that we will still be talking about in ten years’ time.
With immediate effect I have taken on a new role as coach of Challenge League side Neuchâtel Xamax . My main job will be to win the play-off and to prevent relegation to the third tier of Swiss football.
My contract runs until the end of the season and will be extended if we stay up.
